About Me

This is where I say My healing journey began…

but looking back I see that there really is no clear beginning and probably no end

It was around 2009, at the age of 29, when I started recognizing the influence of outside forces (food, alcohol, toxic relationships, etc) and what they were doing to my health and well-being. I started playing with these influences and recognizing that the choices that I made around what I invited into my life affected my state of being. Suddenly in the midst of a long bout of depression and disillusionment (rough Saturn return) I found a spark of hope. I recognized that there was a better way and that I could take action to change.

It started with diet, learning about organic food and medicinal herbs. Eventually I left everything behind and moved across the country to work on farms, living closer to nature and more in alignment with the rhythm of life; the sun, the moon, and the seasons. As beautiful as that sounds (and is), the lifestyle shift with it’s long hard-working days in the elements, living off-grid, and caring for a dynamic community was newly stressful and unstable and triggered what I came to find out later was auto-immune symptoms of debilitating inflammation. I had some moments of disbelief that the changes that Id been making toward a healthier life, especially cleaning up my diet to the extreme, were still allowing me to have such illness. It took me a few years to really deeply understand that healing is SO much more than changing our diet and our outer environment. Diet and environment are physical aspects of our world that we can shift but the most effective change is energetic (which does include looking at diet and environment in a more holistic way).

The biggest game changer to my personal health has been bringing awareness to energetics. Internal energetics which are governed by our mindset, and external energetics which trigger e-motions (Energy in Motion) which we then determine how to move (or not). The exploration of this led me into a journey of Self-Love and deepened my understanding of what it really means to care for the Self and why that is so important. We cannot truly care for others or be of any benefit or service to anyone or anything else if we are depleted and not operating from a place of wholeness and authenticity. Our cup should be overflowing which then naturally spills the abundance, joy, and love onto every being around us. Before this understanding, my own drive to be of service and do what I could to try to help others and make things better is what led to disorder. People pleasing was not in order, it was backwards. Unfortunately though, this is what is considered normal by our society. We push ourselves to burn-out and are guilted into believing that it's selfish to consider ourselves and our well-being over self sacrifice.

This is not true, and not sustainable. Im a living example of what can happen when we don't acknowledge and fulfill our own needs and set healthy boundaries. There were many times that I could not function and many months of my life have been spent in pain. I am so grateful to be well on my way to a high quality of health as I continue to fine tune my own understanding of what a life of purpose and alignment means. This is different for everyone and we all have unique journeys that have led us to where we are now, but it is my intention to use my experience to help others like you find their own way.

My own journey has led me to study and apply herbalism, nutritionAyurveda, astrology, and energy work along with being a sponge for anything around shadow work and transformation, including acknowledging trauma and working from a trauma-informed place.

I'm not here to say that my way is the way or tell you what's right for you. I believe that each person has their own answers and Im simply here to help clear out anything and everything that is blocking access to that inner truth. I have learned some tips and acquired some tools that I am eager to share so that we all can find our way back to wholeness and Re-member our own Truth.

For the benefit of everyone because we are one.

I'm so grateful to my teachers:

DeAnna Batdorff, Joanna Lindenbaum, Sajah Popham, Tatiana Sakurai, and so many others who have shared their wisdom and inspired my journey.
